iPad Home Button Repair & Replacement

Are you facing problems with your iPad Home Button? We can help!

Is your iPad home button not working at all? Is it stuck? If yes, our tech genius at CelMetro can repair your iPad the same day we receive it. The home button on your iPad can stop working or malfunction when exposed to water. The button can get jammed after a fall if the screen is cracked around it.

There are several steps you can do before bringing in your iPad for repair:

Clean the Power Button:

  1. If you are using any screen protector, remove it to see if it is blocking or obstructing the home button.
  2. Inspect the home button closely for any damage.
  3. Check if any dust or debris accumulated around the button. If yes, clean it with a dry microfibre cloth or use a soft-bristled toothbrush without using any liquid or cleaning agent.

If you feel the movement and click of the button, and if it still does not work, you can restart your iPad for a final troubleshooting step.

Restart your iPad:

  1. Press and hold the sleep/wake/power button.
  2. You will now see a slide to power off option on your iPad screen.
  3. Slide the power button icon to the right to turn off your iPad.
  4. Wait for one minute before you turn on the iPad.
