Go to Settings > General > Shut Down and tap on Shut Down
You will now see slide to power off on your iPhone screen. Likewise, you can now slide to shut down your iPhone.
If your iPhone volume buttons are not working, you can adjust the media volume through the Control Center. To open the Control Center, swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen. You will see the media volume bar on the far right of the second row. It is the bar with a speaker icon. Tap and scroll up or down to adjust the media volume.
You can adjust the ringer volume in settings. Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > RINGER AND ALERTS. You can adjust the volume by sliding the small circle right or left.
